▶ Can I “host” my own website?
Absolutely, yes! Why would you want to though, when we offer free hosting for the first year, then it's only $99.99 per year there after to renew. Should you still wish to host your own site, we would just need FTP access to upload the website we design for you, or; we could build you a website directly in your account using your database.
▶ How long does it take to have a web site designed?
Typically the time frame is determined by the size of your web site, the complexity of your site design, and our current client design schedule. However, we pride ourselves on fast turn arounds. Once we accept your project, we will give you a set time frame we guarantee to deliver as promised or we'll extend your hosting term for free.
▶ Do I need to hire a “local” web site designer?
ALR Enterprises International creates web sites for clients who are local as well as out of state. By using the Internet, email and the telephone, it is possible to communicate effectively with clients in any location.

Site maintenance is typically a fee paid monthly to keep your site updated with new content that you provide. Most good web sites have new content updated regularly. Fresh content is what will keep your visitors coming back. This is an optional service that we provide for our customers. However, our websites come standard with CMS (content management system) which allows you to update your website yourself saving you money in the long run.

It stands for "universal resource locator". This is the address typed in to view your web page on the Internet. For example, you would type in http://www.alr-enterprises.info to access our home page.

There are many factors that will affect the cost in designing a custom website. The intended purpose of the site (ie. shopping cart, blog..etc.), features, number of pages, the amount of graphic customization involved and of course the customers budget all play a factor. Most firms will provide a custom quote and some will simply give an hourly or a flat rate. How we differ is that our focus is on the home business, small business sector.
